Netflix, Hulu and Amazon have launched a new video-on-demand service for Bollywood films.
The new service, Bollywood TV, is available through Bollywood Movies Unlimited, a partnership between the streaming service and Amazon Prime.
It’s a $9.99 per month subscription that includes access to online streaming of over 60,000 Bollywood and Hindi films.
The service will be available on Netflix and Amazon as well as Hulu.
“We want to give Bollywood audiences access to a great library of Bollywood classics, and this new service gives them the ability to stream the films in their own homes,” said Jeff Bezos, president and chief executive of Amazon.
“Bollywood TV is a great way to enjoy these films in the comfort of your own home and give them the peace of mind of a dedicated subscription.”
The new Bollywood service will debut in India this month.
Netflix and Hulu are not part of the new BTV service, but both offer Bollywood content for the entertainment industry.
The companies also have agreements to stream Bollywood-related movies and TV shows on their respective platforms.
